Azerbaijan’s head: Turkey invested $12 bn in Azerbaijan's economy

April 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has invested $14 bn in Turkey's economy. The statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Turkey has invested $12 bn in Azerbaijan's economy. Opening of oil refinery plant STAR and the TANAP project will expand opportunities for further cooperation," President Aliyev said.

The presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan respctively, held a regular meeting of the Azerbaijani-Turkish High-Level Cooperation Council, followed by a joint press conference of the heads of state.
