January 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Memorandum of cooperation has been signed in Kiev today between the Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Office for the Promotion & Support of Investments of Ukraine (Ukraine Invest).
ABC.AZ reports that the document envisages cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries in such areas as exchange of information on potential investment projects, exchange of experience in SME services, organization of events for entrepreneurs to encourage mutual investment activities.
To date, the Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) has received more than 1,400 applications for establishment of a business in the liberated territories, including nearly 500 applications from foreign companies.
