April 26, Fineko/abc.az. During his visit to the UK, President Ilham Aliyev has met with Alan Duncan, the Minister of State for Europe and the Americas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In the meeting Mr. Duncan congratulated the head of state on the occasion of his re-election as the country’s president and wished him success in his activities. He pointed out that the re-election of President Aliyev would ensure sustainability of rapid development of Azerbaijan.

Bilateral and regional cooperation and other questions of mutual interest were covered during the meeting. The parties also exchanged views on the negotiation process on the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
