Residents under age of 22 to use buses for free in Scotland

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. In Scotland, residents under the age of 22 will use buses for free.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the new rules came into force on 31 January.

The new rule will cover approximately 930,000 people.

To use the free pass, the resident will need to buy a new national card called NEC or Young Scot NEC, equipped with smart chips.

Passengers must inform the driver where they are going when boarding the bus and bring the card to the reading device.
