February 3, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, serious foundations have been created for the expansion of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov made the relevant statement at a joint briefing with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade Péter Szijjártó.

Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan plays an important role in the energy supply of Europe.

"Hungary is interested in Azerbaijan. It participates in meetings of the Southern Gas Corridor. Tomorrow, they will also take part. Azerbaijan will act as a reliable gas supplier to Europe against the background of new realities, and we believe that Hungary will take advantage of this."

The minister said that during the meeting with his Hungarian counterpart he discussed the increase in the number of flights by WizzAir.
