February 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan returned eight Armenian servicemen, and in return, Armenia undertook to inform Azerbaijan about the mass graves of Azerbaijani citizens who went missing in the First Karabakh War.

ABC.AZ was informed about this at the Azerbaijan State Commission on Prisoners' Affairs.

It is said that guided by the principle of humanism, on 7 February 2022 Azerbaijan returned eight servicemen of Armenian origin to Armenia. Some of those persons are military personnel detained while preventing a provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on 16 November 2021 in the Kalbajar direction of the state border.

"In return for this humanitarian step, the Armenian side should provide the Azerbaijani side with information about the Azerbaijani military and civilians killed during the first Armenian-Azerbaijani war and the alleged places of mass graves," it is informed.
