World’s largest black diamond sold for cryptocurrency

February 10, Fineko/abc.az. At the Sotheby's auction, a black Enigma diamond weighing 555.55 carats was purchased for 3.16 million pounds ($4.3 million) and paid for with cryptocurrency.

ABC.AZ reports that the Sotheby's house did not name the winner of the auction, but after the auction, a well-known lover of cryptocurrencies, businessman Richard Hart posted a video message on Twitter, in which he stated that he had bought the diamond.

The person who decided to put Enigma up for sale owned the diamond for about 20 years and was not exhibited anywhere during this period.
