February 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has appealed to the citizens of Azerbaijan, temporarily or permanently residing in this country, and recommended not to visit the territories where military forces have accumulated (border areas in the eastern region of Ukraine), to stay away from military facilities on the territory of the country.

ABC.AZ publishes the MFA press service’s appeal:

"Our citizens are advised to stay at home or in safe places and refrain from traveling unless necessary.

"At the same time, our citizens are recommended to follow the official information of the Ukrainian authorities.

"Our citizens can get information about special cases by calling the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kyiv (+380 73) 5050000 and e-mail [email protected] and the Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv (+38057) 7000531 and e-mail [email protected]. Depending on the development of the situation, additional information will be provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine.”
