Zelensky appeals with a request to accept Ukraine into the EU

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. President Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily address called for Ukraine to be admitted to the European Union.

ABC.AZ reports that Zelensky stated this in his next video message.

"We appeal to the EU regarding the urgent accession of our country on a new special procedure. We are grateful to our partners that they are close to us, but our goal is to be together with all Europeans. And, most importantly, to be on an equal footing. I’m sure that this is fair, we deserve it," Zelensky said.
