Official number of dead and wounded in Russian-Ukrainian war published

March 1, Fineko/abc.az. “As a result of Russia's attack on Ukraine, according to the UN, more than 100 civilians have already been killed and more than 300 wounded."

ABC.AZ reports that this was informed by the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet.

At least 7 children are among the victims. Most of the casualties were caused by artillery and rocket attacks, as well as aerial bombardment, the UN High Commissioner said in a statement.

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as of 28 February 352 people, including 16 children, have been killed since the beginning of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. 2,040 civilians were injured, and 45 of them are children.
