Chair of Central Bank of Russia resigns

March 9, Fineko/abc.az. Chairman of the Bank of Russia (Central Bank) Elvira Nabiullina has resigned.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharuk.

According to the ex-PM, Nabiullina took this step because of the financial crisis in the country. However, her resignation letter was not accepted by President Vladimir Putin.

Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin does not have information about this.
