Azerbaijan imported products from Russia for over $2 bn

March 10, Fineko/abc.az. In 2021, Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Russia amounted to $2.995 bn (12.1% more year-on-year).

ABC.AZ reports that according to calculations on the basis of data from the State Statistics Committee, imports made up the major part of the turnover.

Thus, last year, Azerbaijan imported products from Russia for $2.074 bn (5.7% more year-on-year).

Wheat is Azerbaijan’s most imported product from Russia. Our country imported 1,094,236.81 tons of wheat for $315.19 million (AZN 535.826 million) from Russia in 2021.
