March 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian authorities have asked China to provide military equipment to support military operations in Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports that according to The Financial Times and The New York Times, U.S. officials stated about this to the newspapers.

However, American officials did not specify what type of military equipment Russia wants from China.

The Financial Times writes that an informed source familiar with the situation said that amid several signs that China may be ready to help Russia, the U.S. is preparing to warn its allies.

Other U.S. officials noted that several types of Russian weapons are nearing the end, as the war in Ukraine has been going on for 3 weeks.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Monday assertions from U.S. officials that Russia asked Beijing for military equipment for its campaign in Ukraine were "disinformation" from the United States, reports Reuters.

The comments came during a regular Chinese foreign ministry briefing in Beijing.
