March 15, Fineko/abc.az. MP Vugar Bayramov stated that the problem of rising prices on the world market and the shortage of some food products will continue for a long time.

ABC.AZ reports that Bayramov noted that the Russian-Ukrainian war has already led to an increase in prices in the region, as well as in the world market.

"There is also shortage of a range of food products in Russia itself. This year, as well as in 2021, a high price increase is forecast on the world market. The sanctions imposed on Russia, as well as bans on the export of food products from a number of countries, make the issue of food safety and guarantees even more urgent. Azerbaijan also receives a significant part of some food products from abroad, and in this regard, imported inflation is inevitable," the MP said.
