U.S. to aid to Ukraine for $13.6 bn

March 16, Fineko/abc.az. US President Joe Biden signed the budget, envisaging aid of $13.6 bn for Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports that he wrote about it on Twitter page.

"I just signed the Bipartisan Government Funding Bill into law - keeping the government open and providing a historic $13.6 billion in funding to Ukraine," Biden tweets.

It is worth noting that earlier assistance in this amount was supported in the US House of Representatives.

Of this amount, $6.5 bn will be allocated to the Pentagon for military assistance to Ukraine. The rest of the funds will go to other departments - for humanitarian and economic assistance to this country.
