CEC terminates powers of MP

March 17, Fineko/abc.az. At today's meeting of the Central Election Commission, it was decided to terminate the parliamentary powers of Shahin Seidzade, MP of the Milli Majlis of the sixth convocation.

ABC.AZ reports that by presidential decree from 3 March 2022 Seidzadeh was appointed the chairman of board at the State Historical & Architectural Reserve Icherisheher.

CEC secretary Arifa Mukhtarova informs that according to Paragraph 4 of Part I of Article 89 of the Constitution, Milli Majlis MP loses his mandate if he holds a position in state bodies.
