Azerbaijan tightens measures against artificial price increases

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. Control over price manipulation in the domestic market will be toughened in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this matter was widely discussed at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov and dedicated to ensuring food safety and improving the supply of basic foodstuffs to the population.

The meeting heard reports from the Ministries of Economy and of Agriculture, the State Customs Committee, the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy, the Food Safety Agency and the State Reserves Agency, and gave relevant instructions.
