April 19, Fineko/abc.az. The leaders of Switzerland and Japan reached an agreement on strengthening of anti-Russian sanctions during negotiations.

ABC.AZ reports that Swiss President Ignazio Cassis, who also heads the country's Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Noting that Switzerland, which is not a EU member, fully supports EU sanctions against Russia, Kassis stressed that this does not mean that her country renounces the principle of neutrality.

Switzerland has decided to impose the same sanctions against Russia, as the EU.
