April 26, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received World Health Organization’s Regional Director for Europe Hans Henry Kluge.

ABC.AZ reports that during the meeting the Azerbaijani leader announced the gradual lifting of restrictions in connection with quarantine in the country.

Then President Aliyev stated that there are very few restrictions left, and the Azerbaijani public regards this with understanding.

Expressing Azerbaijan's continued support for WHO’s activities in connection with COVID-19, the head of state emphasized organization’s role in the fight against COVID-19, delivering speech both in the Non-Aligned Movement and at the UN General Assembly. President Aliyev said that our state has taken the necessary measures to eliminate the socio-economic problems in Azerbaijan that have arisen as a result of the pandemic, and currently the situation in this area is stable.
