Street vendors to be fined

April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Preventive measures have been carried out in Baku as part of measures to combat illegal street trade.

ABC.AZ reports that during the event the sellers engaged in retail trade were revealed in Sabunchi district, who, having occupied the sidewalks, hindered the movement of pedestrians and created an unsanitary situation on the streets.

The police officers conducted an explanatory conversation with those persons and brought to their attention that they should engage in trade only in certain places.

Persons engaged in illegal street trade will be fined 80 manats.
