U.S. seeks to replace Russia as India's key partner

April 28, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. is seeking to replace Russia as India's key foreign partner.

ABC.AZ reports that U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated about this on Wednesday.

He emphasized that the strategic rapprochement between the U.S. and India is growing.

"This partnership could become one of our most important, fundamental partnerships in the coming decades," Blinken said.

According to Blinken, Washington wants to be India's preferred partner in almost all spheres, including trade, science and technology, education, and security.
