April 28, Fineko/abc.az. Switzerland has adopted the fifth package of sanctions against Russia and Belarus, which concerns a ban on the import of a number of goods and restrictions in the financial sector.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Swiss government - the Federal Council.

The document says that the sanctions duplicate the package of restrictions imposed by the EU Union on Russia and Belarus on 8 April.

Accordingly, on 13 April, the Federal Department of Economics, Education & Research of Switzerland (EAIR) updated the list of persons, companies and organizations against which sanctions were imposed, as a result of which sanctions were applied to more than 200 individuals and legal entities.

The sanctions imposed on 27 April expand the list of prohibitions and restrictions.
