Russian oligarch’s yacht confiscated

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The 107-m yacht Amadea worth $300 million, owned by Russian oligarch Suleiman Kerimov, has been confiscated as part of the U.S. sanctions against Russia.

The yacht was seized by the forces of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Lautoka, Florida, at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice and with the support of the U.S., ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media.

Suleiman Kerimov, a Lezgin by nationality, was born in Derbent in 1966.

Since 1998, he has been the owner of Nafta-Moscow.
