May 10, Fineko/abc.az. Russia, Georgia, Turkey have opened land borders, making it easier for people to leave the country, but the opening of land borders in Azerbaijan is slowing down, despite the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country.

This situation creates problems in leaving/entering the country, blocks tourist trips. Given the upcoming summer season, the opening of land borders for the restoration of tourism is necessary.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, MP Vugar Bayramov said that some time ago it was proposed to open land borders.

"The decision on the occasion is made by the Cabinet Ministers Operational Headquarters. We propose the gradual opening of land borders. I believe the decision to open land borders will be made taking into account the epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan and the region," the MP stressed.
