EU to register now only electric vehicles

May 11, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union plans to register only electric vehicles from 2035.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to foreign sources that this is a kind of prohibition for other types of cars.

This would mean that from 2035, the registration of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles that emit carbon dioxide while driving will not be allowed in the EU. The only available technology for this is an electric car.

At that, if the production of cars with internal combustion engines is not adjusted, jobs will be lost.
