May 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications has published information on the increase in the value of exports of non-oil products over the past 4 months (Jan-Apr).

ABC.AZ reports that in the structure of nonoil exports we observe an increase in the production of low-value metals and products made from them.

"In the structure of this group of goods, the main share is occupied by aluminum and products made from it. In particular, there is a wide range and variety of aluminum products. So, in 2021 and 2022, some of these metals and products made from them played the role of drivers for the first 20 non-oil export products. In addition, the main feature of aluminum products is that three different products manufactured according to this group occupy a share in exports. In addition to this product, we can mention polyethylene, which has similar commercial character. As for ferrous metals, among the exported products, 23% were precious metals necessary for the construction sector," the Center said.
