May 12, Fineko/abc.az. A criminal case has been initiated against a high-ranking employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, ABC.AZ was informed at the Guba district prosecutor's office.

The pre-investigation of the criminal case initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code against Ramil Aliyev, the former deputy head for equipment of the MES Guba District State Fire Service, on the fact of extortion of money from individuals allegedly for employment has been finished.

The investigation established reasonable suspicions that Ramil Aliyev committed fraud by making false promises and seizing a total of 21,500 manats. Ramil Aliyev was finally charged under articles 178.2.2, 178.2.3, 178.2.4 (repeated fraud using his official position) and 32.4, 312.2 (incitement to bribery) of the Criminal Code.
