May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Western sanctions against Russia are hitting the economies of those countries that impose them, as well as provoking a global crisis.
ABC.AZ reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated about this at a meeting on economic issues.
The Russian leader stressed that, first of all, this can be seen by the sharp increase of inflation in Europe: in some countries it has already come close to 20% per annum, and as a whole, in the eurozone commodity prices have added over 11%.
"The blame for the global consequences of sanctions against Russia, including possible famine in a number of states, lies with Western countries that are ready to sacrifice the rest of the world for their dominance," Putin stated.
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine signed the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on May 12, 2022 “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine in connection with increasing the effectiveness of sanctions against the assets of individuals”
