May 12, Fineko/abc.az. So far, output for about AZN 6.5 bn has been produced in the industrial zones of Azerbaijan and of them, products for about AZN 2.1 bn have been exported, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Economic Zone Development Agency under the Economy Ministry.

In the 1st quarter of this year the production and export of goods amounted to AZN 681 million and AZN 318 million, respectively. This is 82.6% and 2.7 times more versus Q1 of 2021.

The share of production of industrial zones in country’s nonoil industrial sector made up 14.8% and in the export of nonoil industry products - 36.3%.

Products manufactured in industrial zones were imported by more than 40 countries.
