May 13, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 4 months of 2022, the generation of electricity by Azerenergy amounted to 8.35 bn kWh (at thermal power plants – 7.887 bn kWh, at hydro-electric power plants - 463 million kWh), the share of power facilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - 116.26 million kWh (at TPPs - 73.9 million kWh ans , at HEPPs - 25.7 million kWh, at solar power plants - 16.64 million kWh), independent power plants - 753.2 million kW/hour, wind power plants of Azerishig - 20.1 million kWh.

The Energy Ministry informs that electricity exports for Jan-Apr 2022 decreased by 6.4% or 35.4 million kWh to 518.6 million kWh and imports by 14% or 6.6 million kWh to 40.7 million kWh.
