Data on Central Bank’s finances transferred to State Budget last year made public

May 17, Fineko/abc.az.  The Central Bank transferred AZN 250 million to the State Budget in 2021 (AZN 1 bn in 2020), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA’s audit report.
"CBA’s total loss for 2021 ended December 31, 2021 amounted to AZN 162.746 million (profit for 2020 was AZN 52.485 million). In accord with Article 12 of the Law, after the formation of the bank's capital reserves and the approval of the annual finance report by the auditor's conclusion, the free balance of realized profits is transferred to the State Budget (including to the State Debt Obligations & Guarantees Fund in coordination with the relevant executive authority upon the request of the relevant executive authority)," the report says.
