May 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Statistics Office of Turkey has published information on the sale of apartments to foreign citizens in April of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that comparatively large number of housing in Turkey was purchased by Russian citizens.

1,152 apartments were sold to them last month and 2,687 ones for Jan-Apr of this year. Iranian citizens occupy the 2nd place – they bought 905 apartments in Turkey for April and 3,161 ones for Jan-Ap. The first 3 places were taken by Iraqi citizens. Citizens of this country bought 714 apartments in Turkey this April, and 2,601 for Jan-Apr.

The foreigners bought the most apartments in Istanbul, Antalya and Ankara.
