May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Canada, in connection with the events in Ukraine, decided to ban entry for about 1,000 sanctioned Russians, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the statement was made by Marco Mendicino, the Minister of Public Security of the North American country.
"Canada supports Ukraine. That's why we have just announced an entry ban for about a thousand Russians, including Putin and members of his entourage," Mendicino wrote on his official Twitter account.
Western countries have imposed a ban on the use of international payment systems by Russian banks in order to harm the ordinary Russian citizen, Russian Security Council’s deputy chairman Dmitry Medvedev considers.
