Azerbaijan increases production of building materials

May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan manufactured construction materials for AZN 306.4 million for Jan-Apr 2022 (72.3% more against Jan-Apr 2021), ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee.

Our country produced 1.5 million tons of cement (a rise of 9%), 8,900 tons of construction gypsum (a rise of 50.8%), 31,900 tons of building blocks and bricks made of cement (a rise of 48.4%), 927,000 tons of finished concrete mix (a rise of 29.8%), 6,600 tons of construction lime(decrease of 25.8%), 233,600 cu m of building bricks (a rise of 55.9%), 6,797 tons of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and products made of them (decline of 28.7%), 12,800 cu m of prefabricated concrete structures (a rise of 34.7%), 25,300 tons of asphalt (a rise of 3.2-fold).
