When buying these apartments, VAT not to be refunded

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. The refund of 30% VAT paid on the purchase and sale of real estate will not apply to every apartment.

ABC.AZ reports that economist Radil Fatullayev stated on the air of TV channel ARB-24.

He noted that the new rules will apply only to apartments purchased in HBC: "VAT refund applies only to apartments purchased in Housing-Building Cooperative, sold housing in "new buildings". If the buyer bought an apartment in HBC and sold it to someone else, VAT will not be refunded."
