June 2, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tourism Agency has prepared a report on the results of the analysis of Instagram social network for 2018-2021 in order to determine the "tourist map" of tourist destinations popular among users of social networks throughout the country, to check the level of awareness about these objects and their popularity.

The Agency informs that the purpose of the study is to determine the number of publications in connection with 70 different objects, destinations and seasonality of trips based on the language factor and to make appropriate forecasts.

As a result of the study, it turned out that city tours are particularly popular among foreign tourists, they show more interest than other categories, this is about 48% of the relevant publications.

The study shows that Geigel (21%), Leric (19%), Gabala (18%) and Guba (12%) are the leaders in the category of nature. Judging by the publications, the most popular cities are Baku (63,000), Gabala (50,000), Gusar (30,000), Lerik (22,000) and Guba (20,000).
