Putin: Inflation situation brought under control

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the economic and political situation in the country. He noted that inflation is under control.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that inflation in annual terms made up 17.4% on 27 May.

"At that, starting from the second half of May the price growth stopped altogether. Now inflation is at zero. There are advantages here, there is a certain ambush, as people say, so we need to analyze the situation very carefully and make timely decisions," Putin said at a meeting on economic issues.
