June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is numbering 314,900 unemployed people.

ABC.AZ reports that the number of the unemployed made up 6% of the economically active population.

According to this indicator, Azerbaijan occupies an average place among the countries of the world. Currently, Congo is considered to be the country with the largest number of the unemployed. About half of the economically active population (46.1%) are unemployed in this country. And the country with the least unemployed is Qatar (only 0.1% of the economically active population).

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is at the forefront in the world on the smallest number of the unemployed. The State Statistics Committee reports that  there are 252 unemployed in the NAR (only 0.09% of the economically active population).
