June 13, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR Türkiye Petrol Tic. AŞ, the daughter of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), is among the 10 largest exporting companies of Turkey.

ABC.AZ reports that the Azerbaijani company took the 8th place in this list.

The 29th regular General Meeting of the Union of Exporters of Turkey was held today with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. At the general meeting, the results of the study "The first 1,000 exporters of Turkey-2021" were announced.

According to the study, in 2021, the country's exports increased by 32.8% compared with the previous year - to $225.2 bn. In 2021, the total exports of companies in the TOP 1000 increased by 33.2% compared to a year earlier - to $123.3 bn.

The share of these companies in total exports was 54.7%, and the number of companies with exports exceeding $1 bn was 15.
