Russia-Azerbaijan trade turnover may reach a record level

June 14, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of this year the trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan could reach a record of $4 bn.

ABC.AZ reports, citing Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Bocharnikov in an interview for newspaper Bakinsky Rabochiy.

He expressed a hope that later this year our bilateral trade turnover is expected to reach $4 bn.

"In any case, we’ll do our best to make it happen. As there are pre-conditions for this. According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, for the first 4 months of this year, two countries’ trade volume grew by 6.44% (against an-Apr 2021) up to $893.5 million," the ambassador said.
