May 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Food Security Agency will begin monitoring of all the participants of the food security chain. 

State Food Security Agency’s chair Goshgar Tehmezli stated during the first international conference on food security in Baku that the Agency will startr its activity from 1 July in accord with the presidential order.

"One of its activity directions will be monitoring of economic entities. Inspection and verification will be conducted by staff of the Inspection & State Control Department and the State Food Security Agency,” Tehmezli said.

He added that Agency’s purpose is to assist economic entities to meet international standards and ensure the health of the population.
