Azerbaijani schoolgirl enrolled in Turkish university, gaining a record number of points

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani schoolgirl Shukran Mikailzade scored a record number of points in the exams for admission to the University of Turkey.

ABC.AZ reports that Mikailzade's mother Latafat Aliyeva informed about this.

She noted that Shukran, who graduated from the 11th grade of the Lyceum School of Baku Slavic University this year, scored 98.43 points on the entrance exam to Marmara University.

This is a world record. So Shukran Mikailzade achieved the highest result among those who took exams at Marmara University from around the world.

Aliyeva noted that the annual tuition fee at the university where her daughter enrolled is quite high: "This university is one of the most famous higher educational institutions in Turkey. Only one person from Azerbaijan scored the highest points. We will apply to the state program for tuition fees."
