Cigarette imports in Azerbaijan decreased

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The import of cigarettes from abroad to Azerbaijan has sharply decreased.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, for Jan-Apr 2022 Azerbaijan imported 55.8 million cigarettes for $1.44 million from abroad.

These indicators have a sharp difference against Jan-Apr 2021. Thus, during the reporting period the purchases of cigarettes from abroad decreased by 85.2% in quantitative terms and by 87.8% in value terms.
