BMW opens its 3rd factory in this country

June 23, Fineko/abc.az. German automaker BMW has announced the start of production of electric vehicles at the new Chinese plant Lydia - this is BMW's third car assembly plant in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that the plant is expected to increase the annual production of BMW in the world's largest automotive market from 700,000 vehicles in 2021 up to 830,000 vehicles.

Last year, the German company sold 40% of the world's car production in China.
