Pashinyan: Lachin corridor to be transferred to Azerbaijan

June 28, Fineko/abc.az. Upon completion of the construction of an alternative road to the Lachin Corridor, the territories located outside the territory of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region will be transferred to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at an online press conference.

He emphasized that Armenia is currently negotiating with Russian partners: "So, the corridor should be under the full control of Russian peacekeepers."

Pashinyan pointed out that residents of the city of Lachin and the village of Za Buk to be transferred to Azerbaijan will be provided with housing.
