Owner of hotels Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza announced his departure from Russia

June 28, Fineko/abc.az. British company IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), which owns, among other things, the Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and HUALUXE hotel chains, ceases all activities in the Russian Federation, ABC.AZ reports with reference to company's website.

"We are currently in the process of terminating all activities in Russia in connection with the sanctions imposed by the UK, the US and the EU, as well as the ongoing and increasing problems of doing business in this country," the statement says.

IHG stressed that "they are still focused on supporting their teams in Russia and Ukraine".
