Azerbaijan and Iran determine operating regime of Araz water storage reservoir

June 30, Fineko/abc.az. The work of the Araz water storage reservoir, as well as the distribution of water between Azerbaijan and Iran, was discussed in the Iranian city of Tabriz. The corresponding distribution schedules for the joint use of water and energy resources of the Araz River have been prepared and a protocol has been signed, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Azerbaijan Land Reclamation & Water Management Company.

The discussion of the Draft Protocol of the 52nd meeting of the joint Azerbaijani-Iranian commission will take place in Baku next year.
