July 1, Fineko/abc.az. Ukraine has to pay until September 1, 2022 the external debt in the amount of $1.4 bn with interests. Kiev is considering the possibility of paying for it with frozen Russian reserves.
ABC.AZ reports that such information was distributed by Bloomberg.
At present, Kiev officials are studying options for debt restructuring, taking into account the current state of the country's economy and problems with budget execution.
The option of calculating Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves is considered controversial from the legal side.
But the latter option is controversial from a legal point of view. Negotiations are also underway with the International Monetary Fund.
In the 1st half of 2022, when producing output for AZN 1.3 bn, the share of industrial zones in the non-oil sector of the country's industrial sector made up 14.9% and exports of nonoil industry products - 33.1% (AZN 543.9 million)
