July 1, Fineko/ Another 16 Russian citizens have been included in Australia's sanctions lists in connection with the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian media that the restrictions have been imposed on Olympic champion, chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Media Group holding Alina Kabayeva, Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev, Construction Minister Irek Fayzullin and Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev.

In addition, Igor Putin, who heads the Board of Directors of Pechenga International Seaport OJSC, Mikhail Putin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sogaz Insurance Company, and Roman Putin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MRT Group of Companies LLC, whom the Australian authorities call relatives of the President of the Russian Federation, were sanctioned.
