July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund’s executive director Tural Piraliev named the closed banks, the liquidation process of which will be completed this year.

ABC.AZ reports that Piriyev said that currently the process of liquidation of some banks is at the final stage.

So far, none of the 21 banks in the process of liquidation has been liquidated.

“Initially, we want to complete the liquidation process of Borchali Bank within this year. All creditors' claims against this bank have already been satisfied," he said.

Piriyev also noted that along with this, it is planned to complete the process of liquidation of the Azerbaijan Credit Bank.

"And in this bank, almost all creditors' claims are satisfied. We also plan to go to court during this year to liquidate the bank," he said.
